Today, I recognise all the men out there who are feeling like they have no one to turn to, Ida Odinga has said.
Ida sent the message of hope to all men on her Twitter account on Friday.
"Statistics sadly reveal that men live shortened lives due to stress related lifestyles... I want to assure you that you’re not alone," Ida said.
Her tweet attracted various comments from her followers.
"The Strong Men of the past created good times for us, but the current good times have created weak men. We live in a time of weak men with weak bodies, weak minds, weak spirits, weak attitudes, weak emotions, weak activity, most of all weak philosophy. We must rescue the man.

Kindly remind your husband to cover men in the single parents fund he proposes. Men are also shortchanged by women, especially nowadays. We cannot have a situation where everything seems to go to women.

Men have no one to turn to when things head south for them. Everyone runs away from them including wife, kids and close family and "friends". It is them for themselves. Men only have a "support system" when they are winning. So, men, under all costs let us just keep winning

I always believe 90%of stress in men are caused by themselves, again who told men sharing their problems is a weakness, women suffer less stress not because nothing stresses them but because they go pararaprr every corner with their problems

Concerns have been raised on exclusion of the boy child which has crippled the dream to achieve gender equality.
Last week, Narc Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua while addressing a crowd said that boys need their fathers during their teenage age.
"It is not because of the girl child that the boy child is getting lost. Boys need their fathers as role models..or a father figure in their lives," she said.
Karua further urged the men to look after each other saying that a mother is not enough as a role model.
